ALBANIAN RIVIERA: The Albanian Riviera (Albanian: Riviera Shqiptare), also popularly known as Bregu, is a coastline along the north-eastern Ionian Sea in the Mediterranean Sea.
It features traditional Mediterranean villages, ancient castles, churches, monasteries, secluded turquoise beaches, bays, mountain passes, seaside canyons, coves, rivers, underwater fauna, caves, and orange, lemon, and olive groves.
During the classical times, 48 BC during his pursuit of Pompey, Julius Caesar set foot and rested his legion at Palasë.
He continued onto Llogara Pass in a place later named Caesar's Pass.
PORTO PALERMO CASTLE: Porto Palermo Castle, a hidden gem, is a 19th-century fortress built by the famous Albanian hero Ali Pasha.
Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea, the castle's well-preserved walls and strategic position make it a fascinating spot for history buffs and adventurers alike.
The castle is surrounded by a small bay, which adds to its charm and beauty, and it offers visitors the chance to explore its rich history while taking in panoramic views of the sea and the rugged coastline.
HIMARE: On this stop, you will tour the village of Himare, which offers a vibrant promenade with a long beach and a great vibe when it comes to bars and restaurants.
Here you can take a walk at the promenade, go to the beach if you like, enjoy the beach bars or go through the village streets.
BORSH BEACH: Just a short distance away lies Borsh Beach, one of Albania’s most beautiful and serene stretches of coastline.
Known for its long, pebbled shore and crystal-clear waters, Borsh is the perfect place to relax and unwind with our free provided sun beds and umbrellas.
The beach is less crowded than other popular spots, offering a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the Mediterranean sun, swim in the turquoise waters, or stroll along the coastline.
